PRSI  Dental Scheme - Adults 

Under this scheme, the Department of Social Protection pays the full cost of an oral examination and a €42 contribution towards your scale & polish or periodontal treatment once per calendar year

(1st January to 31st December).

 

 

The Dental Treatment Benefit Scheme is available to insured workers (both PRSI and Self-Employed) and retired people, who have the required number of PRSI contributions.

 

 

We can check online at the practice to confirm your current eligiblity.

We just need your PPS number and date of birth to do this.

 

 

If you are a dependent spouse or civil partner, please ask at the practice for an application form, which you will need to send to the Department of Social Welfare for approval, in advance of treatment.

 

 

The Treatment Benefit Section of the Department of Social Welfare manages the Scheme and you can call them on
